The Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour (CSPWC) was founded in Toronto in 1925 by a group of prominent Canadian artists, including members of the Group of Seven, who were committed to recognizing, encouraging and nurturing excellence in watercolour. Over the decades, the Society grew into a national organization representing accomplished water-media artists across Canada. Celebrating its 95th anniversary in 2020, approximately thirty works by CSPWC artists were selected for Visions Adjoin. The gallery below presents these selected works, offering a view of contemporary water-media practice by artists from across Canada.
