Lady and her collie

Lady and her collie

Once again we have no direct record of the sitter or the dog. Titled a lady with her collie and an accompanying remark that the dog looked underfed one would have thought that Joy with her hilarious good humour would have fattened up the dog a bit. There is no doubt about who is most important as the backline of the chesterfield swoops from both sides to the lady herself. A little bit of thought also leads to some conclusions about the skillful way the colours and contrasts have been arranged.
