“I went through a mask-making phase and this one was mounted on a pressed pulp packing piece that held something or other (can’t remember what) which I painted and hung on the wall. I don’t have it anymore so I must have sold it or given it away. It was the result of a workshop we had at the Guild by the person who made masks for the National Ballet company. It was a fun workshop during which we all made plaster-of-Paris copies of our own faces to use as a base for masks.”
