Konrad Gruber, born amid the scenic Swiss Alps, has been deeply involved in visual art and cultural management since 2003. His diverse educational journey includes a masonry apprenticeship, studies at institutions like IBW Chur and the Liechtenstein Art School, and obtaining BA and MA degrees in Fine Arts and Contemporary Arts Practice. After completing his academic pursuits at the University of the Arts in Bern, he is now actively involved in cultural management, making valuable contributions to the cultural scene in Switzerland. He commutes between the Village Schmitten – Albula alps, Graubünden and the Capital City Bern.
Thematic depth, broad understanding and conceptual thinking are the focus of the implementation and the viewing of the work. The media of painting and sculpture are often combined and elaborated.
