Letter of Support: The PORDS

The PORDS is an art collective of five well-established Toronto artists — Maurice Snelgrove, Katherine Palmer, Laurie de Camillis, Heidi Burkhardt, and Kim Atkins — whose name is a self-given, tongue-in-cheek acronym for "Painters of Riveting Distinction." The group has deep roots in Scarborough arts and arts education, and its members have had an affiliation with Gallery X almost since its inception, both as supporters and as members.
